    My husband HATES leftovers.  So, I usually devise new ways to incorporate leftovers into new dishes.  He will never realize he is eating leftovers, if I call it something totally different.  Saturday morning, I realized I had several odds and ends in the fridge, so I concocted a breakfast burrito to get rid of these few little items.     Williamston Homestead Festival

    Attended the Williamston Homestead Festival last weekend.  It was a free, family friendly event held at Mineral Spring Park in downtown Williamston.  Celebrating a lifestyle of self sufficiency, the festival offered classes, vendors and a seed swap table.  Homesteading can be characterized by agriculture, textiles, clothing, or craft work.  I wanted to learn more about sustainable plants and crops.
