Creamy Healthy Guacamole

Perfect to get avocado into your diet.  This guacamole substitutes mayo, mustard, and other condiments.

  • 2 peeled pit removed avocados - only use meat of fruit
  • 1/2 cup plain low-fat Greek Yogurt
  • 1 small chopped shallot
  • 1 chopped banana pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon lime juice
  • splash of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup packed cilantro leaves you can use the stems too
  • 1/2 t. coarse salt


  • Place all ingredients into your food processor.
  • Pulse till smooth.
  • Scrape down the sides if necessary.
  • Chill for half an hour before serving.
  • Serve with healthy tortilla chips.
